If pilot time is requested, the study will be reviewed and time may be granted for protocol development. The investigators will be notified with the amount of time granted. If additional pilot time is required, it may be granted at the Facility Manager / Head Operator's discretion, up to a maximum of 6 hours. Note that pilot time can only be used for preliminary protocol development and cannot be used for gathering research data (for more information about pilot time, please refer to SOP#130-01).
