The UWO Centre for Brain and Mind

The University of Western Ontario and the Robarts Research Institute are uniquely positioned to pursue an interdisciplinary approach involving psychology, neurophysiology, linguistics, artificial intelligence, computational theory, biophysics, engineering, and philosophy to investigate common problems of mind and brain. The researchers in these allied institutions include scientists whose research is at the forefront of cognitive neuroscience and neuroimaging and whose demonstrated collaborations extend across Canada and internationally. Individual groups of these researchers are involved in a number of collaborative interdisciplinary projects that are generously supported by the CIHR, NSERC, NIH, HFSPO and other agencies. The new UWO/RRI Centre for Brain and Mind (B&M) brings together these individuals and provides a focus for research in cognitive neuroscience in London.
