Kim Krueger, RTMR
Kim is a nationally certified MRI Technologist with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and provincially licensed by the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO). She completed her MRI training at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and holds a BSc degree in Psychology from the University of Alberta specializing in behavioural and visual neuroscience.
Kim joined the CFMM in 2009 as an MRI Research Technologist and 3T Unit Manager, and currently operates the 3T Siemens Tim Trio scanner full-time, including neurological fMRI and anatomical scans, cardiac MRI, diffusion (DTI), spectrscopy (MRS), clinical trials, and MSK imaging. She also conducts and organizes safety and emergency training sessions, maintains the Standard Operating Procedures and website for the facility, and collaborates with facility users to develop study protocols and optimize scan parameters.
