I am a Registered Veterinary Technician (2001), Registered Laboratory Animal Technician (2008), and an active member of CALAS. I have worked at Robarts since 2000 starting out in the Barrier Facility, and came to the Imaging Department in April of 2005 to work under Dr. Robert Bartha. In this capacity, I am responsible for the animal related experiments currently underway in our group. Also, I am the Animal Technician for the 9.4T MRI Facility. In this capacity, I consult with staff, students and PI's wishing to use the facility for animal related studies, and assist with their animal imaging needs if necessary.

My fundamental love for all animals brought me to the field of research where I felt I could ensure the animals I worked with received the humane care they deserved. Currently I share my life with my husband David, my little boy Conner, three cats, a dog and some fish!
