Profile & Research Interests

I have always been fascinated by the brain and neurodegenerative diseases.  I am interested in the similarities and differences between different neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Chronic Traumatic Encephalpathy (CTE). This interest led me to contacting Dr. R. Bartha in the 3rd year of my Undergrad for a project and have been working with concussions ever since!  After completing my PhD  I plan to go to medical school in Ireland with the end goal of being able to work in the clinic and in research.

Asides from spending most of my time at Robarts, I am also a high school math and science tutor, take guitar lessons and go to the gym every day!

Masters (soon to be reclassified to PhD) – Medical Biophysics – Western University – Focus on measuring changes in brain metabolites in sport concussions using magnetic resonance spectroscopy.

BMSc – Medical Biophysics – Western University
