 Profile & Research Interests

Dr. Hacene Serrai holds Master degree in Biomedical signal and image processing from the University of Tours – France and a Ph.D. in the same field from the University of Rennes – France. After completing a post-doctoral fellowship under the supervision of Dr. Jerry Glickson and Dr. Robert Lenkinski, Hacene joined the IBD – NRC in Winnipeg as a Research officer in 2002. In 2014 he moved to the university of Gent – Belgium for three years to work as a medical physicist. Hacene joined CFMM as a research scientist in 2017. His current area of research focuses on the development, implementation and validation of high speed MRSI sequences at high field.
